About the Role
- Manage the full lifecycle of the Oracle database estate globally (design, install, support & security)
- Maintaining a sense of urgency amongst the team to ensure uptime and stability is paramount
- Ensure all KPI's & SLA's are met
- Support project work when needed
- Contribute to documentation and DR plans
- Ensure that best practice is being followed where possible and keep abreast of changes in the market and product
Requirements
- Expert technical knowledge of Oracle database (RAC, Goldengate, Dataguard, Rman, versions 11-19c)
- Expert knowledge of Linux.
- Knowledge of Oracle Exadata systems.
- Strong knowledge of server and storage systems and fundamental principles of those technologies.
- Ability to set own priorities.
- Collaborate with other infrastructure team members to effectively deliver project outcomes
- Proven experience with systems planning and security principles including DR planning and implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Experience of web technologies and supporting highly available services
